Diamond blades are made of two basic elements: A spun steel core and the diamond-impregnated segment. The latter come in three different types: a segmented rim, a continuous rim or a castellated rim. Segments are attached to core by Laser Welding or Sintering. Diamond blades are employed for cutting hard or abrasive materials. The construction industry uses diamond blades for building, remodeling and repairs. Diamond blades are very appropriate for cutting masonry, ductile, concrete, tile, brick, block, stone and other aggregates with resembling properties.
